The LXI / IVI Face-to-Face Meetings and Plugfest 2025 were hosted this year by our partner Rohde & Schwarz in Munich, Germany. We at TSEP were all the more excited to participate in “our home country” and were part of the LXI meeting from November 12 to 14.
The purpose of the meeting is to further advance the specifications and to test the interoperability of the devices as part of the plugfest. The focus was on the EU CRA, and the reference design and the LXI website were also discussed further.
We were pleased with a well-organized event with interesting topics that offered suggestions for the future development of the reference design, but also for the standard. In addition to informative meetings and discussions, three devices were also tested for LXI conformity.
Participants of the event
Participants in the event include all IVI and LXI members. This year, 30 members from various companies such as Keysight Technologies, Pickering Interfaces, Rohde & Schwarz as well as Bustec, DEICO Engineering, Good Will Instrument, Kikusui Electronics Corporation, Rigol Technologies, Tektronix, Teradyne and many more were present.
TSEP as LXI member
As a participating LXI member, TSEP implemented the reference design on behalf of the consortium and also tested three devices at the Plugfest and certified one participant from Keysight Technologies Malaysia for self-certification.
Joint dinner
On Wednesday, TSEP as host also welcomed all participants to a joint dinner at the Hofbräukeller in Munich. Here we enjoyed a lively exchange and spent a pleasant evening together.
