USB-TMC from any conventional USB port

TSEP adapter

For manufacturers who require small to medium quantities for their measuring devices, the provision of a USB-TMC interface for their measuring devices has so far been difficult. Only in-house implementations or licensing from other manufacturers were possible. Our newly developed TSEP adapter now turns any conventional USB port (USB 3.0) of a measuring device into a USB-TMC port.

FEATURES

As a manufacturer of small series measuring devices, TSEP is interested in offering the USB-TMC interface for its own products. With the development of an adapter that turns any conventional USB port (USB 3.0) into a USB-TMC port, we can now also support other small measuring device manufacturers.

The new USB-TMC adapter is available in different versions:

  • Measuring device manufacturers can sell the USB-TMC adapter under license directly as an external adapter. The adapters can either be purchased ready-made via TSEP or produced independently.
  • Product ID, vendor ID and optional descriptions can be customized.

For manufacturers with their own SCPI remote system, TSEP offers a corresponding software package (Windows/Linux/RTOS) to support this interface.
