With HERAKLES, we have developed a completely new test bench for test and measurement systems. HERAKLES software is part of our modular test and measurement system, TSEP THEMIS:
It enables the audit-proof definition, processing and execution of test and measurement sequences, which can also be flexibly changed by the customer at any time.
The module stores measured values either locally or in an external. It offers both real-time monitoring and flexible subsequent evaluation.
HERAKLES software features:
- Creation, implementation and execution of test plans.
- Comprehensive status management for test plans.
- Performing manual and automated tests (Python) and storing of the test parameters and results in a database.
- The test procedure is based on ISO 9000, meaning that tests and their results can be reproduced by anyone. Changes and test runs are also logged so that it is possible to trace who did what at any time. This makes the entire test process traceable.
- Test-relevant documents, software or hardware can be referenced or saved for a test version (documents and software only). This ensures a clear and traceable test procedure.
- Test results are directly linked to the test plan version. When tests are repeated, the underlying test must be used. This allows tests to be clearly reproduced.
- Automatic creation of the necessary documents for test plans and test reports.
- The documents can be customized (also by the customer at any time), so that the generated documents fit the corporate design.
- Simple test execution with the help of Herakles TestBench Execution HMI for the test benches. Low skill level required for operating personnel at the test bench.
- Easy access to measurement hardware through device virtualization. A corresponding library is supplied with Herakles. This can be easily expanded by the customer.
- The corresponding DUTs can be defined and assigned to the test. Properties of the DUT can influence the test sequence (e.g. test case execution only if certain options are available).
