Our TSEP THEMIS Software Modules – An Overview

The TSEP THEMIS modular system offers a selection of standardized, hardware-related and time-critical software components. They are available for various (real-time) operating systems such as Linux, Windows or RTOS and can be adapted to individual requirements.

A brief overview:

TSEP THEMIS Core
is the central software on the THEMIS test and measurement devices, which bundles device-specific functionalities and provides interfaces to the outside world. It acts as a communication center for the hardware.

THEMIS Kratos
allows software applications on devices or THEMIS test and measurement systems to be kept up to date. Installation and maintenance can be carried out locally or remotely and independently of the operating system.

THEMIS Herakles
enables the audit-proof definition, processing and execution of test and measurement sequences, which can also be flexibly changed by the customer at any time. The module offers real-time monitoring as well as flexible subsequent evaluation and other useful features.

THEMIS Chronos
extends the hardware with IEEE 1588 functionality for time-synchronous measurements. It is controlled via the “IVI Trigger and Sync API” and comprises software components and one FPGA per plug-in card. Measurement results can be provided with time stamps.

THEMIS Customer
is the control software for customer-specific hardware, external devices and sensors. The module receives requests, distributes them to the devices and contains all customer-specific functionalities.

TSEP THEMIS Individual

TSEP also develops customized software modules for specific test and measurement tasks, including drivers, protocols, GUIs and databases. TSEP THEMIS Individual is used when the implementation and integration of test/measurement systems proves to be more complex than expected. For this purpose, TSEP adapts software modules specifically to the individual requirements.
