PTP enables precise time synchronization. With the release of the new IEEE 1588-2019 PTP v2.1 standard, TSEP will launch the new product Chronos, an implementation of this standard, at the beginning of Q3 2021. During the complete reimplementation of the IEEE 1588-2019 standard, TSEP was able to fall back on the experience with its earlier TSEP 1588-2008 PTP stacks. The focus is on improved modularization, porting and time access.
For more than 15 years, TSEP has been building individual measuring devices in small series for its customers. These custom-made products are characterized by an optimal implementation of the measurement scenario, high reliability and optimal integration into the customer-specific measurement setup. In order to be able to implement these solutions effectively and inexpensively, TSEP developed a modular system in 2019 that is now being presented under the name Themis.
Beginning of October the LXI Consortium met for their face-to-face meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. Here further progress on the LXI Security Extended Function was achieved by identifying which sections of the current LXI Standard 1.5 needed to be adapted in the light of security.
On Tuesday, 25 June, SENSOR+TEST 2019 – the leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring and testing technology – will once again open its doors in Nuremberg under the motto “Welcome to the Innovation Dialogue! The approximately 540 exhibitors from 34 nations are expected to welcome around 8,000 visitors from Germany and abroad over the three days until 27 June.
TSEP Apollo: with the help of AR Technology, information can be displayed directly in the user’s field of vision. Especially in industry, various scenarios can be identified, in which that provision of Information such as measured variables, circuit diagrams or documents could be useful.
The SENSOR + TEST is a permanent fixture in the appointment calendars of all user industries that require more and more sensors, measuring and testing systems for the development and production of their products. Altogether which means just under 8,000 Trade visitors took the opportunity to inform themselves about the latest developments in sensor, measuring and testing technology at the stands of 591 exhibitors and in the lecture forums.
The accuracy of the time synchronization of computers and measuring instruments using the IEEE-1588 standard depends on the hardware used, the topology and the control algorithm used. A investigation of the different influencing factors and possible solutions.
Big, bigger, Embedded World! With its 15th edition, Embedded World once again impressively confirms that it is the international meeting place for the embedded system technology industry. More than 30,000 trade visitors came to Nuremberg and with more than 1,000 visitors the Embedded World was the international meeting place for the embedded system technology industry. Exhibitors from 40 countries were treated to a new highlight at the event.
